“General” Pedrosa was wounded in the hand and will not fight in England

An injury to his right hand will prevent world number one Rafael “General” Pedrosa from fighting in London, England on November 11.

‘El General’ Pedroza was scheduled to fight in the UK against local undefeated Nick Paul for the WBC (WBC) Featherweight Silver title on the above date.

However, in the sparring session, Pedroza experienced a discomfort in his right hand, forcing him to evaluate him and recommend treatment for his recovery.

“Unfortunately he had this discomfort. He was examined by a specialist and he recommended treatment. That is why we stopped taking him to this fight because it is not good for him to see work in these conditions,” explained Juan Moqueira, coach and coach of “El General” Pedroza.

Mosquera added that the injury, according to the doctor, is a small incision, but with treatment it can be overcome as it is done.

“He continues to train. The only thing you cannot do is use your right hand to rest during the treatment. He is expected to be ready again in December,” Mosquera added.

Rafael General Pedroza, 26, is one of the top boxing players in Panama today.

With a 13-0 record, including 11 knockouts, Pedroza is currently 8th in bantamweight rankings in the World Boxing Association (WBA) rankings.
