Tonight, subject teachers And my assistant College of Science affiliate National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) march towards the Rectory of the University, to demand the immediate reinstatement of two professors from the Faculty of Science, as they had been dismissed for their participation in the “UNAM no Paga” movement.
This movement arose in 2021, when nearly half of Maximum House of Studies’ secondary and higher education schools became unemployed due to non-payment of salaries and benefits for subject teachers and assistants.
The demonstrators advanced towards the hall, between slogans against the “golden bureaucracy” and the demand to “go out with the forces of the university.”

They indicate that they will hold a rally outside the Rectory, and hope to petition the rector of the university, Enrique Graue, asking for the reinstatement of the teachers who have been unjustifiably dismissed, because there is already an award in this regard, as they indicate.
Likewise, they will ask for the improvement of the working conditions of teachers and assistants, the entrustment of these conditions and the improvement of wages.
