Uach will soon open a medical degree in Juárez – El Heraldo de Chihuahua

University’s president The opening of a medical degree will soon take place in Ciudad Juarez, reported Luis Rivera Campos, Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH). As an extension of the college located in the state capital.

Rivera Campos indicated that the main reason for delaying this opening is due to the laboratories that are considered essential for the third semester of the degree.“We are working on it to be ready in time for first generation medicine in Juárez.”

The opening of this degree in the border city has been postponed due to problems related to the requirements for starting infrastructure construction, although they already have a campus where it can be built, they are continuing corresponding analyzes to ensure a good educational level.

Moreover, the dean of U.SACH indicated that the opening of the College of Public Accounting for the Municipality of Cuauhtémoc is possible. He also pointed out that research is continuing on the possibility of opening new study programs at the university.

Just as there is the possibility of opening new professions in the city of Delicias, which will be directed to specializations related to the use and management of water for irrigation purposes, given the requirements that the region suffers from, it is believed to create a new university with tools that will allow the training of new professionals.

Regarding these projects and the upcoming projects planned at the university, Rivera stated that after his meeting with Sepe, they were informed that the resources provided to the university would be $44 million, but he confirmed that the former would meet with the deans of the university.
