Zacatecas. Ruben Ibarra Reyes, President of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas (UAZ), emphasized that with the opening of the integrated semester, the institution is committed to integrating young people into higher education.

This new method will open with 14 new cohorts of 490 students who were unable to obtain a degree in health sciences or engineering.

During the official welcoming of the new health sciences students, Ibarra Reyes explained that this was done to solve the problems of inclusion in enrollment, to get flexible proposals so that young people would not miss the opportunity to study.

In the face of these positive measures, he announced that UAZ will be in the presence of Luciano Conchero, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education “to signify the opening of this integrated semester and the decisive path of transformation at the University”.

He explained that this integrated classroom is an example that can recruit more students without saturating groups, and generate other options, because it allows young people who want to study medicine to learn about other options in other branches of health sciences or engineering.
