Part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30 brands, the Westin Hotels & Resorts brand is preparing to make its much-anticipated debut in the UK in September with the opening of The Westin London City.
The 222-room hotel, owned by 4C Hotel Group and operated by RBH, will offer a prime riverside location on the north bank of the Thames. The hotel responds to the growing global demand for wellness tourism among travelers, while presenting a modern and elegant design.
The Westin London City It embodies the brand’s six pillars of wellness – sleep well, eat well, move well, feel good, work well and play well – through its meticulous programming, which aims to restore guests control of their routine when traveling. Guests will be encouraged to get acquainted with the hotel’s surroundings through the popular programme RunWESTIN, which provides tailor-made running tracks to discover the last part of the Thames Trail, which will connect with Embankment and the Tower of London soon.
Designed for the ultimate in comfort, the iconic Westin Heavenly Bed ensures guests a peaceful night’s rest in all of its rooms and suites. Designed to prioritize guest well-being, the Heavenly Spa features 370 square meters, six treatment rooms and a 40-foot indoor pool carefully constructed around the archaeological remains of Huggin Hill Bath. WestinWORKOUT’s state-of-the-art fitness studio is equipped with TRX exercise equipment and Peloton bikes.

The design of the hotel was led by British architect Dexter Moren Associates, based on the premise that a connection with nature enhances luxury, being a “flexible” and “sculptural” hotel.
Upon arrival, guests and locals will be welcomed into an open and airy setting that leads to two gastronomic destinations: Hithe & Seek, a new split-level wine bar overlooking the Thames where light dishes can be paired with a carefully selected selection of wines Shop and Mosaic, a restaurant serving Nutritious international cuisine 24 hours a day.

For their part, the five spacious meeting rooms mimic the linear nature of the North Lobby design, introducing residential touches and natural textures, creating a collaborative workspace that stimulates creativity.
