Bavaro, Dominican Republic.. – The UK ambassador to the country, Mokbel Ali OBE, has confirmed that the Dominican Republic has been removed from the red list of citizens banned from entering British territory.
The liaison ensures that this decision was made under the ongoing review mechanism used by the UK government and was based on a risk study conducted by the UK Health and Safety Agency.
The measure will come into effect from 1 November at 04:00 (GMT), and fully vaccinated travelers leaving the Dominican Republic for the UK will not be subject to the same restrictions as before, as long as they comply with security measures by Covid19 for England.
