The newspaper reported that the UK appears to have passed the peak of the latest wave of Covid-19 caused by the omicron variant, indicating that its clinical picture may be short. the The Wall Street Journal.

“At least in my hospital, we think the peak in Covid hospitalizations could be in the next week or so,” Tom Wingfield, an infectious disease doctor who treats patients in Liverpool, England, said in an interview with The Medium. “We’re all tired, but I’m more positive about 2022, at least in the UK.”
