On choosing to work with MINI, Alan Carr said: “I love dogs and always drive a MINI. They always love to jump in the back ready for a walk, if they like my drive that’s another thing!” So I took the opportunity to support MINI’s partnership with Dogs Trust. It made a lot of sense !

Commenting on the partnership, Federico Izzo, Director of MINI UK, said: “I am incredibly proud of the progress we have made through our partnership with Dogs Trust. As the UK’s first dog-friendly car brand, we pride ourselves on helping dogs travel happier, and therefore I am delighted to introduce Alan as our partner ambassador to raise awareness of MINI’s dog-friendly status.”

Born out of the entire MINI team’s passion for dogs, the association was first launched in August 2021 with the goal of becoming the first official dog-friendly car brand by the end of 2022. Less than a year after the completion of the Dog-Friendly Workplaces – rigorous training program developed from Ahead of the Dogs Trust dog behavior experts – MINI retailers across the country have achieved Gold approval, becoming the first dog-friendly, Dogs Trust-approved car retailers.
