police Miami-Dade CountyOn Sunday, the state of Florida requested assistance in locating two minors who have gone missing since Saturday.
The girls are named Christian Welford, 12, and Melissa Ruiz, 14, who were last seen in a home located at 600 blocks of Northeast 22nd Street in Miami. local 10.
According to the police department of that southern Florida county, the minors are likely to be kept together.
The oldest is described as a four-foot, six-flea, 120-pound Spanish bird with black hair and brown eyes.
Wilford is described as being African American, standing four feet three inches tall, and weighing 110 pounds, with brown eyes and black braided hair with purple tips.
County authorities are asking anyone with information on these minors to contact the Miami City Police Special Victims Unit, at 305-603-6300.
