Economy Minister Tatiana Clothier will pay a working visit to the UK to start formal negotiations on a new free trade agreement that has been in the works since last year.
The agency stated that the start of these negotiations will be in London, and Clothier will meet with the private sector, with the aim of strengthening British investments in Mexico, as well as trade relations.

Clothier also goes to Germany
As for Germany, Clothier will be in Berlin. During this visit, the goal will be to attract investments and continue to ensure that Mexico is an ideal partner for doing business.
The minister will hold meetings with Volkswagen, Bayer and BMW, as well as with the German Industrial Confederation and the German Business Association for Latin America.
Clothier is accompanied on this tour by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Luz Maria de la Mora, and the Head of the Office of the Trade Attaché of the Ministry of Economy to the European Union, Victor Aguilar.
Last March, the Ministry of Economy indicated that it seeks to diversify its exports to Germany, its fourth commercial destination, and to attract more foreign direct investment, for which it has identified a series of opportunities.
