Alejandro Islas, president of UWC, said, “I sincerely believe that our matchmaker (Alejandro Riquete) has given us one of the best fighting programs in our history, and that’s a lot to say because there will be 25 events.”

Islas added, “It is an occasion to celebrate our twelfth anniversary and we will have 15 professional fights, and the celebration has grown because it will be the first of the decade with UFC Fight Pass, which is a great achievement for us.”

The UWC president stressed that negotiating with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) had already made time available, but thankfully, this was achieved before this job on February 26th.
