Claure provides Garibay with assistance with a sports science specialist

Businessman Marcelo Claure will facilitate the arrival of sports science expert, Juan Carlos Maza, to transform the preparation of Hector Garibay, the Bolivian athlete expected to compete in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Claure funded the implementation of a comprehensive scientific approach to Garibay preparation. The athlete, together with his coaches, accepted the proposal to apply scientific methods in technical, physiological, nutritional, psychological and emotional aspects, representing a major change in the method of training in the Bolivian amateur field.

The specialist, who has experience with the Argentine football team and elite Latin American athletes, will begin his work at a week-long camp in Oruro, where he will apply exercise physiology and biochemistry to improve Garibay's performance.

“Marcelo's support is called intangible value. It is priceless. The biggest problem for this type of athlete, in all Latin American countries, is the lack of economic and organizational support, and it is not just money. During his visit to Oruro: “What Marcelo is doing is of invaluable value.”
