United Kingdom: GB Railfreight announces a new multimedia service from Port of Tyne

GBRfreight (GBRf) I mentioned the beginning of a series of Multimedia Services from tyne port, to the railway stations Yorkshire Midlands.

Consequently, GBRf now operates services from Tyne to Yorkshire twice a week, as well as services to the Midlands once a week.

John Smith, Director of ejecutivo de GB Railfreight, “With import volume levels increasing, this service campaign demonstrates how rail freight can offer a real solution to the current problems facing the world’s busiest deep water ports,” he said.

“We are proud to work with Port of Tyne to power this multimedia service. By unlocking the additional capacity, this new influx can play a key role in ensuring sustainable and timely delivery of goods across the country.”

This series of multi-modal services comes as Port of Tyne welcomes multi-modal traffic to help ease tensions caused by concurrently increasing consumer demand and UK supply chain challenges.
