Investing.com – British shares rose at the close on Tuesday; Gains in sectors, pushed indexes higher.
At the close in London, it added 2.54%.
The best value for the session was Flutter Entertainment PLC (LON:), up 9.24% 896.00 points to settle at 10.00 at the close. It was followed by Tui AG (LON :), which advanced 9.01% or 9.50 points to close at 114.95, and okado group PLC (LON :), which rose 8.87% or 41.30 points, to end the session at 507.00.
To the tail of the cursor is over Wisdom Medicines PLC (LON 🙂 which fell 1.44% or 19.50 points to close at 1.00. Center Meanwhile, the stock of PLC (LON:): 0.92%, 0.66 points, to close at 71.40, while SSE PLC (LON 🙂 lost 0.83%, 13.00 points, to close at 1.00.
The Greens beat the Reds on the London Stock Exchange by 1492 to 365, with 414 closing flat.
Gold futures for December delivery rose 1.63%, or 27.70, at $1.00 an ounce. Among other commodities, crude oil futures for November delivery rose 3.16%, or $2.64, to settle at $86.27 a barrel, while Brent crude futures for December delivery rose 2.96%, or $2.63, to $91.49 a barrel.
The GBP/USD pair rose 0.98% to settle at 1.14, while the EUR/GBP was unchanged, up 0.47% at 0.87.
The dollar index fell 1.17 percent to 110.36.
