The President of Bolivia congratulates Lula da Silva on his birthday

“Dear President @LulaOfficial of the Plurinational State of #Bolivia, we are sending you a big hug on your birthday. #PatriaGrande celebrates your life and supports your fight for a more socially just world. Congratulations!” His Highness wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

The two heads of state met at the end of last August on the sidelines of the BRICS summit (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) in Johannesburg, where they analyzed cooperation between the two countries and determined its broad outlines.

“We had an important meeting with the brother President of Brazil @LulaOfficial. We are working to implement a broad bilateral agenda of physical, water, energy and mutual cooperation,” Arce said at the time.

In addition, the high country has expressed its willingness to join BRICS, a group that promotes a multipolar world, of which Brazil is a founding member.

The South American giant maintains a close political and economic relationship with the Andean nation of the Amazon.

As part of its efforts to impose multipolarity in international relations, the BRICS group has turned its attention to countries with emerging economies, a projection that coincides with Bolivia’s aspirations.

In this sense, the government headed by Arce aims to find markets for its exports and strategic partners in key sectors such as lithium manufacturing, with reserves of up to 23 million tons.
