The government of Ukraine imposes sanctions on several Russian companies – Prensa Latina

The document published on the website of the Ukrainian Presidency states: “Activating the National Security and Defense Council decision issued on April 2, 2021 regarding the application of personal special economic measures and other restrictive measures.”

In Russia, sanctions affect the Federal Agency for Cooperation with the Commonwealth of Independent States (Rossotrudnichestvo) and the Volga-Dnieper Airlines.

Among other things, the list also includes Russian companies Snabkom, Zvezdochka, Speagregat, Molot-Mechanika Mechanical and Dalzavod Ship Repair Center in Vladivostok, as well as Sevmormash-2M machine builder and aggregate plant, both from Sevastopol.

NSDC restrictions include blocking assets, withholding of commercial operations, transit of resources, transportation and flights across the territory of Ukraine.

It also prohibits capital outflow from the country and suspends fulfillment of Ukraine’s economic and financial obligations with these companies, among other measures.

By decision of President Zelensky, other foreign and Ukrainian companies will also be punished, as well as 10 citizens of this country.
