The Cuban Vice President praised the first president of Ghana

Bagbin expressed that Cuba is one of the most resilient and respected countries in the world, in addition to being an inspiration for the assistance provided by sending doctors and combating malaria and other diseases.

He stressed that the two countries must work together to create a new government structure, with a new arrangement of words that leaves no one behind.

The President of the Cuban Parliamentary Assembly of Ghana, Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa, emphasized that “when we talk about Cuba, all parties are together. Ghana’s policy has been and will remain in favor of Cuba.”

For his part, Valdes Mesa thanked the continued solidarity with the Cuban Revolution.

Today’s agenda includes a meeting with the Cuban medical team and with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Ghana is the first stop on a tour that will last until the 22nd of this month, including Guinea Bissau, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. The official Cuban delegation also consists of the First Deputy Minister of Public Health, Tania Margarita Cruz Hernandez, and the Deputy Director General for Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Angel Villa Hernandez.
