Sharon Osbourne is leaving Celebrity Big Brother with the second star to be evicted

A new celebrity has been evicted Celebrity Big Brother 2024 after a very tense live show also ended Sharon Osbourne's reign.

The rebooted series first aired on ITV, with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, and on Tuesday night the duo performed live as the next celebrity shoe was revealed.

Last Friday, Kate Middleton's uncle, Gary Goldsmith, became the first celebrity to be evicted, and just days later, the remaining stars faced eviction in a public vote.

Lauren Simone was the second celebrity to be booted from the show, and she joked that she was already packing her bags.

Speaking to AJ and Will outside, she said she felt “exhausted… having a great time”.

Fern Britton, Louis Walsh and Lauren Simone are at risk of eviction after celebrities nominated each other for the names they wanted.

However, Zizzy Mills was scheduled to be evicted, but Sharon Osbourne, as Big Brother's special resident, decided to save him and put Fern in his place.

After much hesitation and initially stating that she couldn't choose, Strictly star chose Nikita Kuzmin because she was “beautiful inside and out”.

He also said that Levi Roots had made a “deep impression” on him, after he joked that he could not vote for Louis Walsh.

Tuesday's episode proved controversial when Irish star Jedward was criticized by former X Factor star Lewis, who surprisingly branded them “vile” but said they were good for the show.

Speaking to Colson Smith, Lewis said that John and Edward Grimes, known by their stage names, were “obnoxious, but they were great. I got £5m for them”.

He continued: “I swear on my mother's life.” “But they are vile.”
