Prince Harry has turned his back on his homeland, the United Kingdom, by declaring that “my home is now in the United States.”
Harry and his wife Meghan have sensationally announced their departure from the UK in early 2020, and also revealed that they will be retiring from their roles as working senior members of the royal family.
Since then, they have made a new life in Montecito, California, where they welcomed their second daughter, Lillipet Diana, in June 2021.
Now, in a preview of an exclusive interview with TODAY, the Duke of Sussex has made it clear where he calls his home.
He told the show, “You know, my house, my house is now, you know, right now, in the States.

“And he feels that way too. They welcomed us with open arms and we have a great community in Santa Barbara.”
Then lecturer Hoda Kotb asked Harry, “Do you feel this is your home more?”
He nodded and simply replied, “Yes.”
The interview took place in the Netherlands, where Harry and Meghan are currently participating in the Invictus Games.
Harry also spoke about his recent meeting with the Queen.
