Premier Padel signs a former FIFA and ATP player as CEO of its new professional circuits

Premier Padel has already found the person who will lead the changes in the new professional circuit. Eno Polo has been appointed as the new General Manager of Premier Padel to promote the ambitious new phase of the project It is promoted by Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), the International Padel Federation (FIP), and the Professional Players Association (PPA). Polo will report to Prime Minister Badiel’s Board of Directors and will begin his term on November 16, 2023.

Polo has had an extensive career in the world of sports, having held senior positions at Nike in Europe and North America; As well as in Havaianas in the regions of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America. In addition, he served as a Senior Advisor to FIFA and was Head of the Global Brands Group in Europe.

This will not be his first professional contact with racquet sports since then Since January 2021 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the ATP Tour. Polo arrives at Premier Padel after serving as Managing Director of LeDap Group, a conglomerate created in 2021 that integrates a group of companies linked to Padel located in countries such as Spain, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland, Estonia, Austria, UAE United Arab Emirates, the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom. In total, the company operates more than 120 clubs that make up more than 700 tennis courts.

This appointment comes just weeks after Qatar completed the purchase of the World Padel Tour and unified it with the Premier Padel Championship. Both departments will be merged into one from 2024 under the administration of FIFA. Polo’s direct responsibility will be to manage the merger of the two circuits and thus promote the sporting and commercial transformation of Premier Padel to transform it into one of the most dynamic, modern and professional circuits in global sport.
