Nutrition culture goes back to food science

Organized by the College of Food Sciences, it will include live bands, an entrepreneur expo and multiple activities. Entry will be a donation of non-perishable food items, which will go to two public schools in the city.

In this ninth edition, in collaboration with the Municipality of Concordia, there will be live local bands, raffles, an entrepreneur fair, a canteen, an artistic make-up platform and a children’s entertainment space managed by the “Encuentro es Recreación”, “Canto Rodado” and “Biblioandante Peri Hoy”. The artworks that will be presented are: Orquesta Flor de Fango, Taller de Tango Salón de la FCAL “Santa Milonguita”, Bicho Raro, Murga “La Chivira”, Río Abajo, Embajada Playadito and Candombe de la Estación.

Activity week

Within the framework of the same event, the opening of the photo exhibition of the popular carnival, “Those Carnivals,” by the Momo Group, will be held on Monday, September 25, at 5 p.m., at the college’s facilities, and its opening will continue. On display all week. On the same day, at 6:00 PM, the talk “The Origin of Momo” will be held. “The Political, Social and Cultural History of Carnival” by Juan Mignone and Sebastian Pitavino. While the entrepreneurship workshop will be held on Tuesday the 26th at 6:00 pm under the supervision of Robin Salomon from the cultural space “Arandú”.

This activity is part of the college’s expansion work involving teachers and students from the aforementioned academic unit and its technical high school, as well as other UNER departments.
