Casa de las Ciencias’ new autumn program will present exhibitions, conferences, conferences, storytelling and a popular science workshop for all audiences until November. This program is characterized by the celebration of International Lunar Observation Day (October 1) and World Space Week (October 3 to 9), this year under the theme “Space and Sustainability”. For this reason, many activities organized for the fall semester focus on astronomy.

Among other activities, there will be an astronomical observation from the balcony of the Casa de las Ciencias (Saturday, October 1) and the theatrical performance “Mami Supernova” (Tuesday, 4) in the City Hall Auditorium. On the same day the exhibition will open: “Mars. Opening a dream. As a reinforcement, workshops for children and adults are offered on Saturdays and Sundays in October and November.

With a more academic but also informative tone, the Supreme Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) will hold conferences dedicated to “Vaccines”, “Mars and the Mystery of Life” and “Planetary Health”.

And before all these activities around space and the moon, tomorrow Thursday there will be a new exhibition: “Spanish guitar, the science and art of a universal instrument”, which can be visited until January 8. Through this model, which will also have conferences, it will be possible to know the guitar in depth, its history, manufacture, operation and the main characters that gave it status and popularity.

In addition, Casa de las Ciencias continues to display the exhibition Travelers to the Train until September 25th! Science and technology are on the rails. During September and October, the Logroño Animal Inventory Conference continues with the Forestry Association of La Rioja. Next courses are held on September 16 and 17 about birds.
