Brits beware! Netflix has revealed that London will be the location of the fourth season of its hit drama You, which means murderous stalker Joe Goldberg (Ben Badgley) will soon terrorize the British capital.

At the end of season 3 – spoiler alert if you’re late! Joe burned his suburban life to the ground, setting fire to his Madre Linda house with his wife Love (Victoria Pedretti) still inside. And the last time we saw the prankster, he was walking the streets of Paris, the Eiffel Tower on the horizon.

But a Netflix sneak peek just released for Season 4 shows Joe has crossed the English Channel…

Netflix renewed you for a fourth season in October 2021, days before the third season premieres on the streaming platform. In a statement, model Sera Gamble, who joined forces with Greg Berlanti in adapting writer Caroline Kepnes’ novel You for the Small, gave a peek at what to expect.

But Sera said she also wanted to explore an international venue. “I’d be excited to go into a European season,” he said at the time. “I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. One of the questions we always get asked on this show is: What group of super-ass assholes do we want to introduce Joe to next? And there are so many untapped puddles around the world, if you just leave the US borders.”

Showrunner Sera Gamble was “excited” to do a set season in Europe.

In a previous interview with TVLine, Cera noted that each season of love takes place in a new location and “a new conversation about love with the letter L.” The first season took place in New York, the second season moved to Los Angeles, and the third season became his home in a fictional California suburb.

Now Joe is back to have a good time in London.

Yesterday, Friday, April 1, Netflix revealed a big deal on Instagram: a photo of Penn during filming, sitting next to a stack of books. Promote the caption “Joe is back to having a good time.” “If his choice of books tells us anything…our son may not be in Paris.”

Penn’s adjoining book collection includes famous works of British literature: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle, Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens, Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray, and Bleak House and the Great Expectations of Charles Dickens.

But there’s also a fictional book in the pile, a book called A Good Man in a Cruel World by Rhys Montrose.

In a press release on Friday, Netflix confirmed that filming is underway in London… and revealed that actor Ed Speleers will play a character named Rhys, a dry and disrespectful author whose memoirs made him a literary star.

Is Reese an ally of Joe… or one of Joe’s many victims? Time will tell. Netflix hasn’t announced a season 4 premiere date, but stay tuned!
