After a long wait since the news came out today, we have a preview of what Kristen Stewart will look like as Mrs. D.
If you’re not sure what we’re talking about, we’ll tell you a little bit about this production. Kristen Stewart will play the princess in a movie called “Spencer,” and the story will take place at the weekend in which Diana discovers she doesn’t. For a longer time you want to be part of the royal family or be the wife of Prince Charles.
Written by Stephen Knight, creator of Peaky Blinders, Spencer will be filming in Germany and the UK with a planned release in the fall of 2021.
“It was a pleasure working on the script. I think it’s a different perspective on a story that we don’t all know very well, but we all feel part of it now,” said Stephen variety In an exclusive interview last week. “And all of this I found wonderful. Talking to people who knew her and trying to get a glimpse of this person, who she really was, that she was a normal person in unusual situations, is the way I think about her.”
Unlike the recent “Lady Di” movie that was shown on The Crown, this movie will deal with Diana as the main character, as the more complex, humane and adorable character of what has been written about so much. Kristen Stewart has spoken in the past about the importance of respecting the princess’s heritage and protecting her image.
