Extensive possibilities to open a medical college in Juarez – El Heraldo de Chihuahua

The possibility of opening a medical school in Ciudad Juárez is very wide, as this will allow the inclusion of more hospitals in the state with good specialists.

This news was announced as a result of the meeting that the President-elect of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACh), Luis Rivera Campos, had with former UN Mission Chief Jose Naro, during which important proposals emerged to enhance the academic offer of Chihuahua’s alma mater.

Rivera and Naro agreed on the challenges involved in opening a medical school at the border, as well as the importance of promoting scientific research.

Medical tourism was another relevant topic at this meeting, as the UACh could undoubtedly be an important ally in strengthening borders.

Another topic discussed was the safety of young people providing their social services or training in remote communities or experiencing high rates of insecurity, and likewise, the importance of a qualified faculty was highlighted.
