Easyjet, the first European low-cost carrier to offer door-to-door baggage collection, delivery and collection services

Customers can now choose to check their luggage from home, skip baggage drop off upon departure, and convenient baggage pickup upon arrival.

The service was initially offered to customers flying from London, Gatwick and Geneva, and will also be included for customers on easyJet Flexi fares.

Europe’s leading airline, EasyJethas launched a new door-to-door baggage collection and delivery service in collaboration with baggage collection and delivery specialist Airportr, offering passengers traveling from London-Gatwick and Geneva the option to check their baggage from home, skip baggage drop off on departure and quickly review baggage claim on arrival.

The airline has teamed up with Airportr to offer this new option to help make travel easier, following research that showed 40% of easyJet customers would be interested in these services when flying to and from their flight.

The airline will initially offer three services to customers at London Gatwick and Geneva airports:

Departure: Customers flying from London, Gatwick or Geneva can now check their baggage at a designated collection point, such as their home office or hotel, which will be picked up by an authorized driver and then collected from the baggage carousel upon your arrival at your airport. Destination.

Arrival: Customers arriving in Geneva from any easyJet airport can book a delivery service for their luggage to their final destination, such as their home or hotel.

Door to Door: Customers traveling from London Gatwick to Geneva can book a door to door service, which is a completely seamless baggage experience, meaning customers can check their bags from home and see them arrive at their final destination.

EasyJet has also become the first airline to include the service in bundled fares, meaning FLEXI fare customers flying from London, Gatwick and Geneva have the service included in their booking.

Services are available for flights to any of EasyJet’s European destinations from the airline’s largest UK base, London-Gatwick, and from Switzerland’s largest airport, Geneva, from £37.
