This meeting coincided with Latin American Medicine Day. The mark of gratitude and professionalism left by our health collaborators there – which increased in times of the pandemic, when Cuban doctors demonstrated their commitment and dedication by being fully entrusted with the care of COVID-19 patients – is one of the many testimonies given by the hundreds of Cuban health collaborators leaving every day around the world.
Their work is clear evidence that solidarity is a necessary path that all humanity must follow. Their presence in different countries, providing quality medical care and unconditional support, inspires us and teaches us that together we can overcome any challenge.
