Daria advocates vaccination as an exercise of “responsibility” and “solidarity” with others

Health Minister Carolina Daria defended vaccination against COVID-19 as an exercise of “responsibility” and “solidarity” with the health of others and highlighted it as the country’s “greater common goal” to complete vaccination for 70% of Spain’s population.

This was confirmed by Daria, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health, during his visit to Teror (Gran Canaria), where he made the official announcement of the Pine Festival 2021 and where he already expressed his appreciation to Spain. This percentage exceeded among the most vulnerable groups.

In the same vein, the Minister highlighted the “great capacity” shown by Spain when it comes to the management of the vaccines that arrive, and acknowledged the good “coordination” between the government and the autonomous communities, which she emphasized that it had ensured. That the vaccination campaign is a “national success” and the role played by public authorities and health departments.

Following his words, Daria stressed the importance of the €140,000 million fund for the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan that will help promote “economic, social and regional cohesion, environmental transformation, digital transformation and gender equality”.
