Cuban Foreign Minister Celebrates Founding of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean Countries under the Belt and Road Initiative

The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, through his official account on that social network, also supported the Global Development Initiative and celebrated a proposal to implement, in 2024, Forum of Latin American and Caribbean Countries and China Summit.

“The establishment of CELAC with the Belt and Road Initiative launched by President Xi Jinping in 2013, will generate new opportunities for cooperation and mutual benefit. #Cuba supports the global development initiative and welcomes the proposal to hold the CELAC-China Forum Summit in 2024,” the publication.

The Belt and Road Initiative, proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013, aims to build a network of infrastructures and communications to revitalize ancient trade transactions by land and sea, as was already done in the ancient Silk Road to the second century. before our time.
