Boris Johnson promised to raise $232 million for Olympic sports in Britain

The United Kingdom will host the Commonwealth Games next year, which will be held in Birmingham. £778 million (€914 million) was invested in the West Midlands region to carry out the event, making it the largest sporting event in the country since the 2012 London Olympics.
