A new British military aid package to Ukraine includes the MSI-DS Terrahawk Paladin anti-drone system

The UK government has announced that it will send a new package of military aid to Ukraine, along with the possibility of new agreements on air defence. The British Ministry of Defense announced this through an official statement yesterday.

The value of this new military aid from the United Kingdom amounts to 122,000,000 US dollars Which will be provided with funds from the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU). The package hopes to help its armed forces clear minefields, maintain their combat vehicles and strengthen defensive fortifications to protect vital national infrastructure.

The latest contract signing for the IFU air defense capabilities package will see the supply of more than $85 million in capabilities to Ukraine, including the MSI-DS Terrahawk Paladin air defense system, a platform that can track and destroy drones and protect infrastructure critics. . This remotely controlled, redeployable unit is used to defend against land, air and sea threats at short distances. It is mounted on a NATO standard DROPS (Detachable and Pick-up Rack Unloading System) system that can be deployed on the ground and operated remotely.

As the document explains, the UK and Denmark launched the IFU in 2022, collaborating with Ukraine to acquire capabilities that best meet the needs of their armed forces. Since then, five more countries have contributed to the international consortium, demonstrating the determination of allies and partners to support Ukraine.
