Associated British Port (ABP) About installing a new automation system for doors in Immingham Port Container Terminal.
At a cost of £1.5m, the new terminal gate system will speed up operations at Immingham Container Terminal (ICT) and offer other benefits including improved delivery time.

Carriers entering the station will need to have a reservation with a valid Unit ID. The system then provides high-resolution images of the container as it arrives and leaves the terminal.
The Immingham Container Terminal handles 15 ship calls per week calling at major European ports via shipping lines connecting Scandinavia, the Baltics, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland.
