Teresa García Gasca, Dean of Umm Al-Qura University, thanked the participation of external academic colleagues for their cooperation in carrying out this work to validate the study plan.

The Bachelor of Medicine from the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ) has been submitted for evaluation by the Inter-institutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CIEES).

During the beginning of the review, Teresa García Gasca, Dean of Umm Al-Qura University, thanked the participation of external academic colleagues for their cooperation in carrying out this work to verify the study plan.

“Assessment gives us, ourselves and later academic colleagues, the opportunity to continue continuous improvement, and in this sense, our university is pushing precisely because all of our educational programs follow this trend, of course, the Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine is no exception,” the rector said.

For his part, Francisco Montes de Oca Jaro, Executive Member of the Health Sciences Committee and the Committee on Arts, Education and Humanities of CIEES, emphasized that it is a very committed task, in which an objective assessment will be given, while adhering to the established rules and standards.

“Assessment for the purposes of accreditation in this remote method seems to be that it omits a series of aspects such as personnel, ability to communicate, and visibility, but it also allows us to many other things that revolve around this process and, above all, taking into account the attitude of those who They and their evaluators are rated towards digital media, a measure that allows us to see in a different way.

Finally, Guadalupe Zaldívar Lelo de Larrea, Director of the Academic Unit, was responsible for welcoming the members of the External Academic Fellows Committee.
