In a solemn ceremony attended by officials from the university and the College of Humanities and Education, the Institute of History and Social Sciences graduated 63 graduates, who received the biocha and the diploma corresponding to the degree of Bachelor of History and the professional title of Professor of History and Social Sciences.
This act took place in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Law and was chaired by the Academic Vice-Chancellor of the University of UV, Carlos Becerra, together with the Dean of Humanities and Education, Leopoldo Benavides; Director of the Institute of History and Social Sciences, Pablo Aravena; The Major’s President, Patricio Gutierrez, and Valentina Bellinger, represent the Student Center in the major. They were accompanied by academics, staff and alumni guests.
For more than thirty years, the University of Valparaíso has collaborated with regional and national training in the field of history through the indicated degree and professional title, providing outstanding professionals, with values of social responsibility and pluralism typical of the public and state university.
On this occasion, Brigadier General Leopoldo Benavides took advantage of the floor; Student Center representative, Valentina Pellinger, and at the end, on behalf of the alumni, Natalie Santander.
