Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, is running for a second term and is a candidate for the European People’s Party (EPP, right, the first party in Parliament).

These elections, which will be held from June 6 to 9, will determine the new European Parliament, and the resulting political balance will determine the distribution of key positions.

“These are very important elections, not for one country but for 27 countries at a time,” he said.
