Montana will issue personal income tax refunds on December 31, 2023, up to $1,250 for individuals and $2,500 for married couples.

In Washington, the deadline is Dec. 31 to apply for the Working Families Tax Credit, which offers between $300 and $1,200 depending on the details.

Additionally, New Mexico will allow taxpayers to claim $500, or $1,000 if joint, based on their personal income tax return. Eligible residents have until May 31, 2024 to file their 2021 tax returns.
