The humor program “Más risas, por favor” will fill the Rio Ebro Civic Center with laughter at the hands of top comedians, such as actor Luis Zahera, winner of the Goya Award in 2019 for Best Supporting Actor for his film. Role in the movie The Kingdom.
In total, there will be five shows filled with monologues, improv games, and stand-up comedy performances over the two months of comedy, which will take place between February 4 and 25.
After the good reception of the first show, which took place last year, the Civic Center has strengthened its commitment to humor with a second edition that gives continuity to a program that brings together eminent personalities of humor. This was announced today by the Minister of Participation and Relations with Citizens, Javier Rodrigo, who presented the details of the program in a press conference, together with the director of the Rio Ebro Civic Center, Maria Palasi, and the humorist, Joaco Malavergín.
“After the success of the audience, and the laughter that made us laugh last year, a second edition of this episode was almost a must for us, all the more so if we had the collaboration of JaSostenido, which brings to our city actresses and actors dedicated, first-rate monologues,” he noted.
Proof of this is Luis Zahira, Galician actor and winner of the 2019 Goya Award for his performance in El reino, who, after his performance last year, returned to the Civic Center on Sunday 5 February with his program “Chungo”. Zahira was also nominated this year for the prestigious Spanish Film Awards for his role in As Bestas.
The person in charge of opening this night of humor will be screenwriter and actress Yolanda Blanco. The course will start the day before, on Saturday 4 February, with the show “Telefono roto” by Jorge Asín, Mariano Bartolome, Joaco Malavergne and Diego Peña.
In addition to the famous comedians of the land, they are four friends, who have gathered on this occasion to put on a show of improvisation and raving, inspired by their surreal after-dinner conversations.
The label consists of Las Couchers (February 11), Los Ases del Jiloca (February 19) and Iñaki Urrutia (February 25). We attach a file containing information for each procedure.
