Granada will host the National Conference on the Social Communication of Science in October

On October 25, 26 and 27, Granada will host the ninth edition of the Science Social Communication Conference organized by the Spanish Association for Scientific Communication (AEC2), in which the slogan “Union strengthens strength” will address “priority issues” for those responsible for the dissemination of information related to science, so that “It will position the city as the scientific, research and publishing capital of Spain.”

The Conference on Social Communication of Science (CCSC23) will be held in Granada from October 25 to 27, 2023. in Granada Science Park and will have a hybrid format. It is an event that aims, under the slogan “Unity Makes Science”, to promote the meeting of all those people, from the professional and academic field, who work for the dissemination of knowledge and the establishment of a dialogue with a participatory society, with the ability to make decisions and the science that it requires. More than two decades later, the Social Communications of Science conference is being held again in the city where I was born. Since that first edition in 1999, the conference has become a benchmark in Spanish-speaking science communication and an unmissable event for all professionals and institutions in the sector.

On this occasion, the meeting is organized by the Spanish Association for Scientific Communication (AEC2) and the members of the Granada City of Science and Innovation (Granada City Council, the University of Granada (UGR), the five centers of the Supreme Council of Scientific Research (CSIC) of the city, the Science Park and the Andalusian General Science Complex Health (PTS) and the DESCUBRE Foundation).
