On behalf of the Minister of Health, José Luis Alumia Zegara, Dr Jorge Laureano Eugenio, Director of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, emphasized that the investigation must not only be published, but decisions must be made, which is why he celebrated the winners. I invite them to continue to conduct research and achieve results that benefit all societies.

“I acknowledge young people who are known for their work. Go ahead. We must make extraordinary things out of the ordinary in our practice and I believe this research award must go so far that the results not only remain in a journal, but actually translate into transformation. I highlight Sonora’s case as one of the few that has continuity in this type of event in terms of research,” he stressed.
