Jerry Seinfeld rules out the possibility of a Seinfeld reunion: ‘I don’t know what we’re going to do and it would be a good thing’

The comedian broached the topic during a recent press conference marking the arrival of the classic sitcom on Netflix.

On the subject of a possible meeting with the actors, he said, according to the people“Nothing happened at all.”

“I am a very nostalgic person. I love going home as I grew up on Long Island.”

“It’s one of the reasons I loved the Mets because I loved them as a kid, and that makes me think back then. But I love moving forward in life. I think in the future. I don’t know what we’re going to do and it’s going to be good.”

The press conference was held at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, one of New York City’s two major baseball teams with the Yankees. Seinfeld is a longtime Mets fan.

He noted the danger that the barrel is not “good” in the meeting scenario and that “I think we did a good job” during the show’s initial run.

Seinfeld, which also starred Jason Alexander, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Michael Richards, ran for nine seasons between 1989 and 1998.

The comedy will be available to stream on Netflix in the US and UK on October 1.
