Cody Rhodes requests a WrestleMania show for the UK – Superfights


Cody Rhodes defended his title in Birmingham, thanked the support and suggested holding WrestleMania in the UK, although the matter remains complicated.

The current undisputed champion WWECody Rhodes defended his recently won title at the House Show today, April 17, at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, West Midlands, England. His opponent was Shinsuke Nakamura and they both had an interesting fight.

The interesting thing about the case at this beginning of the WWE European Tour is that Rhodes, as soon as his match ended, addressed the fans and thanked the great energy provided by everyone in the House Show. He emphasized that he was very grateful for the support of the fans who responded, “You deserve it!”

Rhodes then requested that WrestleMania be held in the United Kingdom, a request he actually made.

Although at the moment there are no indications that WrestleMania will be held in the UK in the near future which is a very complicated prospect, given that for WWE to hold a show in another country, a company or country must be present.
