Brad Pitt returns to the big screen at the UK Grand Prix, after Formula 1 film title and poster released

Brad Pitt returned to the track at the British Grand Prix to continue filming his Formula One movie.

The BBC reported that the Oscar winner is back at work. On the track in Northamptonshire, UK, he wears the racing suit of the fictional APX GP team that appears in the film, now titled F1.

Pitt also filmed there last year, before strikes hampered production, during the 2023 Grand Prix, which takes place on Sunday afternoon.

Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton is a co-producer of the project, which will also see him play veteran driver Sonny Hayes, who returns to the track after a long absence.

Deadline announced the film’s title on Friday, following the official Apple Original Film announcement. The teaser poster has also been removed. Warner Bros. has a distribution deal for F1The film’s release date has already been announced as June 27, 2025 in North America and June 25, 2025 overseas.

Pitt plays a former Formula 1 driver who returns to racing alongside his teammate (played by Damson Idris) in APXGP, a fictional grid team. The film will be shot during actual Grand Prix weekends, with the team competing against the giants of the sport. The cast includes Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.
