Investing.com – The UK Stock Exchange closed higher on Thursday; Sector gains, indexes lead higher.

To the tail of the pointer is over Legal and public affairs Group PLC share (LON) fell 5.02%, or 14.60 points, to close at 276.10. Meanwhile, Carnival PLC (LON 🙂 fell 3.43%, 59.4 points, and closed at 1,670.2, while Bank VTB PAO DRC (LON 🙂 lost 2.69%, 0.032 points, to 1,158.

Gold futures for June delivery rose 1.88%, or 32.65, to $ 1768.95 an ounce. Regarding other commodities, crude oil futures for May delivery fell 0.05% or $ 0.03 to settle at $ 63.12 a barrel, while Brent crude futures for June delivery rose 0.05% 0.11%, $ 0.07, to $ 66.65 a barrel.
