The conflict between Russia and the last Ukraine has put the world in the eye and revived everyone’s interest in what the country has to offer, from gastronomy to celebrities who have some family ties or who have made a protest or manifesto in favor of Ukraine.

Another topic that has attracted attention is film production or TV series, here we present some Ukrainian works that you can watch on different streaming platforms.

Mr. Jones

This film is a co-production of Ukraine, Poland and the United Kingdom that tells the true story behind British journalist Gareth Jones who traveled deep into the Soviet Union in an attempt to uncover a global conspiracy. This drama, which inspired Animal Farm and stars James Norton, was presented in the official section of the Berlin Film Festival in 2019. It is available on the Filmin website.
