Ukraine breaks internal security cooperation agreement with Belarus

Kyiv, August 12 – The Sudebno-Yuridicheskaya Gazeta newspaper confirmed today that the Ukrainian Ministerial Cabinet has violated the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of the Interior and the Belarusian Ministry of the Interior, in a clause dated August 9.

The signed agreement states that the internal entities of Kyiv and Minsk assisted each other in combating crime, ensuring public order, implementing judicial rulings and searching for missing persons, as well as in developing scientific links. technology and information, among other things.

The Government of President Vladimir Zalensky instructed the Chancellery to notify the Belarusian side of the termination of the validity of the relevant agreement from the date of receipt of the notification.
