The United Kingdom is ready to provide financial support to Ukraine for the purchase of gas and to promote the development of Ukrainian gas extraction.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmyal made the announcement via Telegram after meeting with British Prime Minister Liz Truss, Ukrinform reports.

The two parties also agreed to establish a working group to prepare for the Ukraine Recovery Conference to be held in the United Kingdom next year.
Shmigal thanked the British partners for their political support and practical assistance.
As reported by Ukrinform, the British government plans to allocate at least 2.3 billion pounds ($2.63 billion) in military aid to Ukraine next year.
