At the bottom of the index was Tui AG (LON 🙂 which fell 2.74% or 6.60 points to close at 234.20. ITV On its part, the share of PLC (LON:) decreased 2.35%, 2.02 points, and closed at 83.82 points. Antofagasta PLC (LON 🙂 lost 2.34% or 39.00 pips to close at 1.00.
The Greens beat Red on the London Stock Exchange by 1.151 to 744, with 435 closing flat.
Gold futures for April delivery were down 0.71%, or 13.80, to $1.00 an ounce. Among other commodities, crude oil futures for April delivery rose 1.56%, or 1.61 to settle at $104.59 a barrel, while Brent crude futures for May delivery rose 1.04%, or 1.11, to $107.75 a barrel.
GBP/USD settled 0.24% at 1.32, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.57% at 0.84.
The dollar index rose 0.28 percent to 98.25.
