Academics from the University of Sonora (Unison) are calling for the 11th State Congress of Exact and Natural Sciences “Quality and Innovation in Science Teaching, Post-Pandemic Challenges”, which will be held from 23 to 25 May.

Workshops will be held in the fields of biology, biochemistry, computing, electronics, physics and mathematics, as well as conferences, as well as talks on research conducted in the state aimed at teachers.

The aim of the event is to exchange experiences on methods of teaching exact and natural sciences in the New Mexican School, said the head of the event organizing committee, Ezequiel Rodríguez Jauregui.

He expressed this by saying: “We will address and discuss these new ways of teaching the exact and natural sciences, and this is the goal, which is to exchange successful experiences. For example, experiences from Kobach and other subsystems will be exchanged.”

In conjunction with the courses, a display of experiments and prototypes will be held on Friday the 24th at the Unison Arts Center.

Some of the conferences that will be presented are “Environmental Training in the New Mexican School, The Challenge of Educational Transformation and Improvement” and “Challenges and Prospects of Science Teaching Under the New Co-Curricular Framework.”
