The Saint Petersburg Forum concluded agreements worth $76 billion

During the four days of Spev, Russian regions signed many agreements with different companies, “which will contribute to internal development and comply with state guidelines,” Kobyakov commented.

For his part, Russian expert Leonid Savin, in an exclusive interview with Prensa Latina, highlighted the presence of Latin American representatives at the business event.

“It is very important that our friends from Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua come to the forum, and we are working with the aim of uniting forces and contributing to the vision of a multipolar world,” he said.

He specified that cooperation in various fields of economy, trade and security will lead to reducing the mechanisms of hegemony imposed by the United States on the Latin American region, especially with the dollar’s control over financial transactions.

“Of course, it is also necessary to increase scientific, educational and cultural contacts, and I hope we can do more projects together,” he added.

From June 5 to 8, the ceremony was held in St. Petersburg, in the presence of more than 17,000 representatives from 136 countries.

In the 2023 edition, about 900 contracts worth about $43 billion were closed.
