“Heartstopper” was released in 2016 as a webcomic, but was not published as a novel until 2018. It was confirmed that this series would consist of 6 volumes, but so far only 4 are available; Part of Volume 5 is available on the official webtoon page, but it is only in English.
The comedy tells the story of Charlie, a high school student who has suffered bullying from his classmates since his homosexuality was revealed. In one of his chapters, Charlie meets Nick Nelson, the captain of the rugby team, with whom he forms a friendship that will gradually turn into a love story. Both heroes, along with their group of friends, will show us different love stories but also the challenges of having to grow and face new changes.
